Octopus
A prototype board game that my design group and I have been working on for a while, including playtesting sessions at Tabletop Scotland the the UK Games Expo. Octopus is a clue-guessing party game for two teams of players.
It’s currently a hobby project but we may eventually try crowdfunding and a commercial release.
Mandelbrot Maps
As part of my undergraduate honours project in 2011/2012, I created the Mandelbrot Maps Android app, based on an existing Java web applet developed by my supervisor’s previous students. The app is designed to render Mandelbrot and Julia set fractals and demonstrate the relationship between them – every point in the Mandelbrot set produces a unique Julia set fractal.
It continues to have a solid score and get good reviews and I check in on it occasionally to make sure updates haven’t completely broken it.
